Since its opening, Vanila Hôtel & Spa is strongly involved through its managers in various activities :

- Founder and organiser of "The Donia", cultural festival of the Indian Ocean since 1994

- One of the founders and present president of the association managing the Centre de formation du Tourisme et de l'Hôtellerie de Nosy Be, that allows 60 young Malagasy to graduate after 2 years of study

- Heading the Groupement Interprofessionnel de l'Hôtellerie et du Tourisme de Nosy Be (GIHTNB) several times and thus involved in the environmental aspects (collecting and waste treatment) and social aspects (HIV prevention, program fighting against sexual tourism, integration of young dropouts)

- Creation and managing of a school football counting 120 youngsters aged from 7 to 16 years old and 7 qualified trainers

- Vanila Hotel & Spa received the "Label Vert", second hotel of the North of Madagascar

- Vanila Hotel & Spa was involved in the elaboration of the "Charte du Tourisme Durable" (Sustainable Tourism Charter) on Nosy Be. Vanila Hôtel & Spa is one of its ardent members
